Professional Licensing & Credentials
Last Updated: Feb, 5 2026
At Genix Medical Staffing & Solutions (“Genix”), our commitment to elite medical care is built on a foundation of rigorous credentialing and regulatory compliance. This page outlines the licensing standards and professional requirements governing our clinical staff and service delivery.
1. Clinical Credentialing Standards
Every medical professional in the Genix network undergoes a comprehensive vetting process managed by our Director of Clinical Governance & Safety.
- Verification: We verify active state-level licensure for all Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Background Checks: All staff must pass federal and state criminal background checks, OIG exclusions list screenings, and professional reference audits.
- Specialized Certifications: Clinicians providing specialized care (e.g., post-stroke recovery, cardiac care) must maintain relevant advanced certifications.
2. Facility Staffing Compliance
When Genix provides staffing solutions to healthcare facilities:
- We ensure all personnel meet the specific credentialing requirements of the requesting facility.
- Our Lead Health-Tech Architect maintains a secure digital vault for all primary source verifications, accessible to facility administrators for audit purposes.
- We comply with all Joint Commission (TJC) standards regarding contracted staffing services.
3. Home Care & Private Duty Licensing
In the delivery of home-based support:
- Genix operates in strict accordance with state-specific Home Health Agency (HHA) or Home Care Organization (HCO) licensing requirements.
- We maintain the necessary professional liability and workers’ compensation insurance to protect both our staff and the families we serve.
- Our care plans are developed under the supervision of licensed clinical leads to ensure adherence to state medical practice acts.
4. Regulatory Adherence
Our operations are governed by a complex framework of healthcare regulations, including but not limited to:
- HIPAA: Strict adherence to patient privacy and data security.
- Labor Laws: Compliance with Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) for our clinical workforce.
- State Boards: Continuous monitoring of bulletins and updates from State Boards of Nursing and Departments of Health.
5. Professional Integrity & Revocation
Genix maintains a zero-tolerance policy for credential lapses.
- Clinical staff are automatically moved to “inactive” status upon the expiration of any mandatory license or certification.
- We reserve the right to report professional misconduct to the appropriate licensing boards as required by mandatory reporting laws.
